Braconid Wasp

Braconidae

Description:

Wasp, orange head, black eyes; orange thorax, black abdomen (white underneath?); yellow-orange 2 pairs of legs, while the last pair is black and long; has ovipositor (it seems). It was easily disturbed and kept on flying from one flower to another. I only got 1 shot before it finally flew away. The 1st pic here is just a cropped version of the original pic#2.

Habitat:

Backyard, spotted on weeds flowers.

Notes:

IDd for now as under family Braconidae. To confirm if this is Agathidinae (http://www.flickr.com/photos/mgg310/6907..., http://www.flickr.com/photos/mgg310/6808...). It seems the pictures in this blog are match to the spotting, but there is no ID in the blog: http://peacockroyal.blogspot.com/2009/11....
