Purple Toadflax

Linaria purpurea

Description:

Tiny Purple and Pink flowers on a stalk that look a bit like snap dragons. Usually flowers June to September. Tiny black seeds in a pod. Attract a large variety of bees. First spotted this plant in my garden about 4 years ago and think it was this that attracted the solitary green-eyed bee Anthophora Bimaculata.

Notes:

Thanks to gatorfellows for identifying and excellent references :-)
