Description:

Female Rufous hummingbird feeding on a pineapple sage plant. This species is usually not found this far East. Migrates in spring through Pacific states, in fall through the Rockies.

Habitat:

Breeds in North West North America, winters in Mexico. Favors hibuscus and salvia.
