Eastern Wild Turkey

Meleagris gallopavo silvestris

Description:

Walking through the woods when I stumbled across a gaggle (is that the word) of Eastern Wild Turkeys. When they got wind of us they booked it out of there. Got this picture of what appears to be a hen before they where gone though. Turkeys are fast birds man.

Habitat:

The Eastern Wild Turkey is native to North America.
