Banded Garden Spider

Argiope trifasciata

Description:

They had yellow and silver bands on the back of the abdomen. One of the webs had a half eaten "Not so lucky" male spider which was tiny compared to these females.

Habitat:

There were two spiders located almost 5 meters apart. The webs were in small bushes close to the ground.
