Gergithus floreni
An Issid planthopper which resemble a small beetle very well. 5-10mm in length. It's round body has marks looking like a smiling face on it's back. Identified as Gergithus floreni by WonGun Kim. Other similar Issid genus are Hemisphaerius and Gergithoides.
Plant leaves of Bukit Gemuk (Fat Hill), Tawau, Sabah.
