Photo take in a road near home early morning still dark this is a big scorpion around 12 cm long dark red color hard to tell which Diplocentrus is is a big possibility that is a Diplocentrus chol a new species describe in 2007 or a Diplocentrus maya witch is a also just describe in 2007 as well hope i can get the correct Id for this one.

If you have this scorpion, you can send it or take it to Dr. Oscar Francke at IBUNAM in Mexico City. He can identify it or describe it if it is new.
