Description:

Wooly, translucent, maggot like. 1/2' long. The end with the horn is the rear.

Notes:

I was installing a new metal roof on my shed when I saw this critter crawling up the roof. It was moving at a pretty rapid pace. There are branches of sweet gum, live oak and water oak above.

My first guess, would be probably (battered up southern flannel moth caterpillar).
