Thanks so much for your response and suggestion, bayucca! Unfortunately s/he flew away before I could get any more pictures, but I will crop the pictures for a closer look.

A little bit tricky from this distance, but I think it might be Mimus gundlachii.
Do you have any closer picture? Or can you make a crop of both pictures you have, so we can see more details of the head, wings and tail? This would be very helpful to confirm the genus/species. Please, verify anyway...
