Narcissus pseudonarcissus
Perennial herbaceous plant producing small massifs on edges of montane forests. It grows the bulb, produces a rosette of green narrow leaves, and large flowers, about 5cm across. Flowers are composed of six pale-yellowish tepals, and a large bright yellow central trumpet.
Today I found few massifs of these beauties on edges of our montane mixed forests on higher slopes of Jura mountain range; Geneva lake valley. The native range of these includes France, and they are one of the most common narcisses around.
The plant is toxic, and would induce vomiting if consumed.
