Microchirita involucrata

Microchirita involucrata

Habitat:

Rock face on the edge of forest in semi shade

Notes:

I first spotted this plant growing here in 2012 and sent some info to the Royal Botanic Gardens in Edinburgh to try and get a positive ident. Because the quality of my photos was'nt great it was not possible, although they thought it might be Microchirita involucrata. I have just contacted them again attaching a current image so fingers crossed I will get to know what this beautiful little flower is. There is only one small patch of rock where I have seen this plant growing, and only at this time of the year.
