Brown Thrasher

Description:

Most of the Thrasher species in North America have downward curved bills. The Brown Thrasher has the least amount of curve. It is also the only species in the eastern part of the states.Rufous brown body with white underneath with added streaks. Eyes are yellow.

Habitat:

Though usually elusive this one seemed to come out of the shrubs lining the creek.

Try bribing with fruit and nuts. Also maybe meal worms

We have two living in our yard in Naples, Florida. They are the only birds that seem anti-social and do not care to have a relationship with me Ha Ha
