Description:

Solitary bee that shows a tendency to gregariousness in the construction of their nests, made of mud in places more or less earthy. In the picture is pollinating an Alheli del Teide, an Canary Islands endemic plant.

Habitat:

Endemic to the Canary Islands. A. alluaudi is found in open Pinus canariensis forests at 2,000 m asl in Tenerife, having been recorded up to 2,300 m asl. Spotted at Parque Nacional del Teide
