Geometrid Looper Caterpillar

Description:

3cm long and slender. It is difficult to see in these images. Unable to count the prolegs but I have included the best images I could get from what was there

Habitat:

From the shape I would conclude that this species inhabits the Casuarina it was found on. 4m small tree planted locally as a part of local council regeneration program and part of a small wood with Maleleuca and Pittosporum undulata and several Eucalyptus trees

Notes:

# casuarina geometrid caterpillar. Unfortunate images. The focus gets less dependable as the torch batteries weaken
