Manduca sexta
Large green caterpillar with white stripes with little black dots, a green tail. About 8 cm long. Very similar to my last spotting http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/165... but with some differences.
Shrubs.

Thank you Jakubko for the ID and the link. I found one that looked exactly the same as this one.
Marvelous spotting, Luis! It appears to be Manduca sexta, but in the stage you have photographed, it is supposed to have a red tail. For that reason, I think Manduca species is a good genus to look around in. http://bugguide.net/node/view/742191/bgi...

Thank you Karen, NOw it has an common name.
It's a hawkmoth of some kind. I can't believe this one slid through with no favorites!
