Description:

Large green caterpillar with white stripes with little black dots, a green tail. About 8 cm long. Very similar to my last spotting http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/165... but with some differences.

Habitat:

Shrubs.

Marvelous spotting, Luis! It appears to be Manduca sexta, but in the stage you have photographed, it is supposed to have a red tail. For that reason, I think Manduca species is a good genus to look around in. http://bugguide.net/node/view/742191/bgi...

It's a hawkmoth of some kind. I can't believe this one slid through with no favorites!
