Beautiful Stephanie. I have some good friends that are doing some intense research on this species. I don't know much about the research, but I know they are mapping territories, banding birds, recording nest locations, and video taping nest. Recently, while recording a nest, they got video of a cowbird pushing the dickcissel chicks out of the nest.
