Description:

Sprawling plant that has compound leaves that end in a tendril. Leaflets are oblong with a needle at the tip . Single purple flowers produced near the base of leaves. This plant may grow upright if there are nearby plants with sturdy stems that it can attach to.

Habitat:

Meadow. Maymont Park, Virginia.
