Dysphania militaris is a species of moth of the Geometridae family that can be found from the Oriental region to Sundaland.

Definitely a Geometridae, Dysphania sp. and I am "almost sure" it is Dysphania militairs. However, your forewings looks a little bit worn and with washed-out colors, so it might be a different species or subspecies. Please, verify with your Indian moth cracks...
