Magnolia grandiflora

Description:

10-15 foot tall, single trunk pyramidal shaped tree. Large dark green and slightly waxy leaves. Large 8-12” wide white flowers.

Habitat:

Several of these trees are planted in a row and on a narrow strip of grass separating two parking lots between apartments and a college.
