Venezuelan Troupial

Icterus icterus ridgwayi

Habitat:

Found in Colombia, Venezuela, and the Caribbean islands of Aruba, Curaçao, Bonaire, and Puerto Rico where it inhabits dry areas like woodlands, gallery forest, dry scrub, plains, and open savanna. Seem also to be very comfortable around suburban areas and people.

Notes:

Very common in this area. You can hear them all day both at the hotel and the beach. The last pic taken with iphone at the beach of one that kept coming to get food from us.
