Syrphidae
Hoverflies, sometimes called flower flies or syrphid flies, make up the insect family Syrphidae. As their common name suggests, they are often seen hovering or nectaring at flowers
everywhere you can find flowers (?) but i found this in tropical forest of Mount Slamet, Central Java, Indonesia
when i take a break on hiking trip, and then this hoverfly perch on my hand, i take my camera and shot... previously i thought that it was a bee... :)

I've created a mission so we can document the wide variety of insects in Indonesia. It's here if you are interested.
