Our guide and spotter explained that solitary bulls like this one are especially dangerous and cranky. They spend a lot of their time lying in thick brush, and get up only when disturbed enough to charge(4th photo)

Thank you! I have to say that for a canned group tour, we had excellent guides and safari drives. I would do this again in a hot second!
