Spider

Olios sp

Description:

Lovely pale green spider hiding under a rectangular web. The spider is totally hidden from view but as we realized later, two sides of the web are free allowing the spider to simply jump out.

Habitat:

On the leaf of Alstonia scholaris plant. It remained there through the first day and was there the next day too...unfortunately it got alarmed when I handled the leaf to get a clearer shot (difficult to photograph clearly as it was UNDER the sheet-like web).

not a lynx spider for sure ... it is a huntsman spider !
the web pattern is typical of a sparassid and Lynx spiders do not make such elaborate retreats

@ Atul...more like a green Lynx spider. Pale green and a jumper.
