Tasmanian pademelon

Thylogale billardierii

Description:

Endemic to Tasmania, this pademelon wasn't too bothered by a small crowd of onlookers. It hopped off down a trail in the surrounding bushes when I came a little too close (about 3m).

Habitat:

All over Tasmania - this specimen was found by the seaside.
