Thanks Malcolm I have edit the spotting by checking the reference given by you and really that reference is too good I downloaded that and it will help me in my future also ........Thanks from my bottom of heart........

This is the main reference I use, none of them are universally accepted but this is one of the most widely accepted. http://www.birds.cornell.edu/clementsche...
Common names are more attached to countries and thus very flexible but the scientific name is treated as universal and we use that to classify all the spottings so it is very important that it is correct when entered.
As wiki can be updated by anyone it does often contain a lot of false information so cannot be relied on for accuracy. In some cases even correct information has been removed and replaced by incorrect information so it should only be used as a guide and not as gospel.

Hi,
Malcolm ,
Thanks for the information I have just checked its taxonomy on wikipedia - This species have both the common name but as the Genus name is concerned the recent studies uses the "Gracupica" genus with same species name .As for more information you are here to help me.........

This species is undergoing changes of name. It used to be known as "Asian Pied Starling" before it began to be known as a Pied Myna. In addition at least some taxonomic organisations are now giving it the scientific name "Gracupica contra". I need to check into this further.
