Lyperanthus serratus

Description:

The only Lyperanthus species found in Western Australia. The small popualtion consisted of 3 plants, the largest being some 40 cm high.

Habitat:

This specimen was located in the Helms Arboretum north of Esperance WA. It was in an open woodland setting with many grasstrees surrounding .

Notes:

This was my first encounter with this species
