Description:

Mossy leaf-tailed geckos are nocturnal and arboreal. These geckos rely on their natural camouflage as they dwell among the trees. If these two hadn't been in the trail shelter they would not have been noticed. When on branches they become very nearly invisible.

Habitat:

Ranger shelter in the Ranomafana National Park
