Harmonia conformis
Several of these ladybird pupae were seen yesterday. Each was approximately 6-8mm long.
Suburban plants varied mix including casuarina leaves, micro-maple leaves, grass stems....
Possibly 3 species here. I will split the spottings out when ID'd. So far... Pics 1 and 2 are Common Spotted Ladybird, Harmonia conformis.

Argy Bee you could put 4 and 5 in a container for a few days until they emerge for a confirmed ID.

That's great thanks sarahaw1981. I use that website heaps and it's getting better every day. I think I might get their DVD. I've ID'd the first 4 pics just stuck on the last 2.
They are in the same stage as the ones that I took pictures of the other day.

5,6 might be Seven-spot ladybird (Coccinella septempunctata)
3,4 also Common Spotted Ladybird, Harmonia conformis

Hi Argy, these look like Ladybug/Ladybird pupa. I don't know which type though. It looks like you may have a couple different species in this series.
