Lesser Bushbaby

Galago moholi

Description:

Small strepsirrhine primate.

Habitat:

Thorn Tree Veld at Southern African Wildlife College

Notes:

These nocturnal primates were quite common around the campus and in the surrounding bush. They were very inquisitive and would regularly approach and watch us from about 3-5 meters for a brief period before retreating. Notoriously fond of sweets. Hide your candy and birthday cakes.
