thorny devil

Description:

A thorny devil at the Alice Springs Reptile Centre (and rescue) eats ants that happen to cross his path in his enclosure

Notes:

The reptile centre is an interesting diversion while in Alice Springs. The proprietor was late to our private talk and tour because he had just rescued a black headed python that he would rehab and release. The animals all seemed active and curious and had very large enclosures. Many outside.
