nepenthes (pitcher plant)

Description:

It was approx. 2 cm tall.

Notes:

We encountered one of the smallest species of pitcher plants in the world during a multi-day trek through the Maliau Basin in Malaysian Borneo. Trying to find the exact species - the taxonomy of nepenthes plants is complex. Could it be Nepenthes tentaculata? Or do they only grow in the Mt. Kinabalu region?
