Hibiscus Harlequin Bug

Tectocoris diopthalmus

Description:

30mm, very active

Habitat:

pot plants along a driveway with a lot of bush and salt water estuaries close

Notes:

It is a true bug and not a beetle but I have included the term among the tags as I did not know until it was identified either.

Thank you Gerardo, Sometimes we just get a lucky break and have a camera in hand when the bug wants to pose
