Description:

Medium-sized turdid with a very characteristic appearance. Of uniform and dark tones, the male is black, with an orange bill and eye ring, while the female is dark brown, with a yellowish or brownish bill. It exhibits an agile and direct flight, frequently at low altitude, between bushes and areas of tangled vegetation. Perched on the ground, he jumps around, and when he stops he shows a very upright pose.

Habitat:

Urban gardens in the city of Valencia (Spain).
