Trametes versicolor
Trametes versicolor can be a very prolific fruiter: trees could be totally hidden behind the fungus. The cap shows concentric bands with a large variety of colors, generally alternating darker and lighter colors. The colors of the bands can be quite variable, depending on the genetics of the organism and its environment. Most of the bands are dark to light brown in color, alternating with light colored bands of white to tan, with still more bands of blue, orange, maroon, and other.
That fungus can be found worldwide. These ones were found 5m apart in a coniferous area of the boreal forest.

I am just wondering: is it a true Trametes versicolor or could it be a Trichaptum biforme? Any specialist to help?
