Waminoa flatworms in bubble coral

Waminoa spp.

Description:

Brown rust flatworms are from the gena Convolutriloba sp. and Waminoa sp. They are brown/rust in colour and have a red dot at one end. Their color results from pigments and symbiotic algae. Mouth ventral and in posterior third of body.

Habitat:

Indo Pacific

Actually they are predators of the coral. They are considered a pest in aquaria.
