A coyote makes a couple of pounces and comes up with this Cackling Goose.


Photographed between markers #12 & 13 at the Ridgefield NWR. I suspect that the goose was already injured or dead as there were no other geese in the area. A healthy bird would have flown off with the rest of the flock. The grass blocked my view of the bird until the coyote picked up the bird.
