Hi DrNamgyalT.Sherpa, I was wondering what you're advice was trying to say? I have had success using a flash at night with my moth photography. Sadly, this example is the rare example when my flash's batteries had died.
Lucky, try using a light, preferably LED with a large source and from the side. Set camera/ phone camera on AWB, or according to the light source. Avoid camera/ phone flash at night, unless it's a side/ front view. Steady the camera on a support: tripod/ small hard box of 7.5 - 80 cm thickness, and try self timer, etc., etc. Sorry for imposing!
