Masai Giraffe

Description:

Masai, as evidenced by its coat pattern. Alternate names are Kilimanjaro giraffe and Maasai giraffe, and they're actually the largest subspecies, with males hitting about 6 m in height.

Habitat:

Kenya and Tanzania and that's about it.

Notes:

Baby Masai giraffe born July 2012 at the Houston Zoo. Isn't he just the sweetest?!
