Description:

Family: Noctuidae, Subfamily: Noctuinae, Tribe: Xylenini. A common thick- bodied moth TL 22-26 mm. (3/4 - 1 inch) Rough gray PW with jagged black lines. White/gray spots. Hosts: apple, birch, maple and oak.

Habitat:

Found during the day on the house near a light source. (Inhabits woodlands and meadow)
