Austroargiolestes icteromelas
This beautiful metallic blue-grey damselfly was about 40m long. Wings were delicate showing a notch and cross vein which are distinguishing features of this species as outlined in the weblink. This damselfly had prominent compound eyes which looked like black pearls.
