Spotting

Description:

I think this is a species of Philodendron, for the shape of the leaves. When philodendrons are ready to reproduce, they will produce an inflorescence which consists of a leaf-like hood called a spathe within which is enclosed a tube-like structure called a spadix. In this case, however, the inflorescence grows directly on the spathe. I don't know if this is common or not, so... I pass the word to the experts!

Oi, Sergio, eu acho que o gênero é Spathicarpa, não Philodendron.
