Lovely, white fungi (Oyster?) with white gills. This tree was covered with them.
Coast Live Oak in oak forest. This tree was still alive and it had recently rained.

Thank you for the comment, Ava and for the genus suggestion, Despina! I agree with the genus. I'm not sure if the species can be determined but I'll just put Pleurotus sp for now.
