jummm there is a big chance your right.. but i think the plant where i found them feeding was not of the species of plant they feed. LoL i gues i have no choice but to return to the area and investigate a bit more :)

i just google it and the gulf fritillary caterpillas looks a but diferent. Anyway i saw that butterfly u mentioned in that same area so i really dont know :/

I believe its a Gulf Fritillary (Agraulis vanillae) Caterpillar
