Amazing!
Great capture. Would you consider adding this to primates of indonesia mission. http://www.projectnoah.org/missions/1780...
Wonderful portrait! Welcome to the community Andrea!
thats awesome
well spotted Joshua: this adult male was actually just keeping an eye on his group of "ladies" but pretty relaxed about it...enough so to let out a huge yawn which i captured...hoorah!
Roland: Glad to hear you also love "Thomas" but interesting to hear you saw them in a zoo..its the first time i have heard of them being in captivity..I wonder where they came from? I should imagine that the reason for you being attacked was not because you were close to his female but because he was in an abnormal environment and was very stressed.
I love these monkeys, i actually was attacked by one at a Zoo in Siem Reap Cambodia, I got too close to his cage and his gal was near and the reason he attacked me, he reached his arms out and grabbed my hair and not let go until someone passed him some fruit thank god, he was strong, and their call is loud too... nice picture
nice monkey yawn!
Well then, you must be Andrea! :) Welcome aboard! We look forward to seeing many more fantastic photos from you.
Hi Yasser, well spotted! the photos on ecologyasia's site are also mine. if you look you will see they are credited to me.
Hi there, we just wanted to make sure that all these images are indeed your own photos. We came across similar images on another website here: http://www.ecologyasia.com/verts/mammals.... Please let us know otherwise we will have to pull them down. At Project Noah, we require that you only submit your own photographs. Thanks for your understanding and welcome!
