I don't know of any Grey Goose in English Carols, only the 6 Geese-a-laying in the 12 days of Christmas! I can tell you that these Geese were the ancestors of all domesticated Geese.
Are these geese the same "grey goose" sung of in English Carols? Stupid question , but there it is! ;)
