Description:

Solid brown back with a cream belly that is heavily streaked. They also have a yellow eye.

Habitat:

Found in eastern and central North America in wooded areas.

Notes:

In Palo Duro Canyon State Park.

Your first photo shows a Hermit Thrush, Catharus guttatus. Note the difference in eye color, tail length, and bill length and color.

Thanks! This is at a photo blind at the State Park near by, and I always have to be there for awhile before these guys come out, I like them. The first photo was a pretty small one, smallest I had ever seen at least!
