Description:

An erect heather-like shrub (10-15 cm), of mountain pastures, or woodlands, with downy twigs, nymerous bristly-pointed linear leaves, and crowded terminal clusters of magenta-pink flowers.

Habitat:

Woodland margin.

Notes:

Native to southeastern Europe, Turkey and Ukraine.
