Description:

Erect, non-branching plant. Lanceolate shaped leaves seemed to be pierced by the stem of the plant. Top of plant droops over. Yellow flower that hangs below top of plant. Interior of petals have a grainy texture. Native wildflower.

Habitat:

Temperate forest. Pocahontas State Park, Virginia
