Cave Cricket

Rhapidophoridae

Description:

Large, hump-backed, with a large ovipositor.

Habitat:

I see these guys on a single tree at the firework tent I run every year. They will also climb into tents, and prefer damp spaces.

Notes:

These guys are harmless, but it is terrifying when you wake up and see one crawling up your leg inside your tent!
