Flea Beetle Larva

Disonycha sp.

Description:

4mm flea beetle larva. Pinkish in color with spiny texture.

Habitat:

Weedy habitat along the Hennepin Canal.

Notes:

At first I thought this was a lady bug larva, then a sawfly larva, but happened to stumble on Disonycha on Bugguide. Not sure what species it was, but it was about 4mm.
